National
Drumming Day - If you air drum at work or in the car or constantly
pound out rhythms everywhere you go, this day's for you! If you're
a drummer at a club, play in the orchestra or your part of the
drumline at school, this is your day! November
15th is the day we celebrate DRUMMING.
How to
celebrate:
1.
Join or local
drum circle or create on of your own and invite others to join.
2.
Don your favorite drumming t-shirt, hat or piece of jewlery.
3.
Post your favorite drumming pics or videos of your playing to
Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or other social media. -
Hashtag #NationalDrummingDay
4.
Revisit your drum goals to make sure you're still on your projected
path.
5.
Start your own drum club and use drumming to help 'at risk'
teenagers.
6.
Call in sick from work. Just use the excuse that it's National
Drumming Day.
7.
Take your drumset or percussion gear apart to clean and make
any repairs.
8.
Offer a free drum lesson to the potential 'drum bum' down the
street that's always wanted to play drums.
9.
Make this a day to get some 'serious' practicing in with no
interruptions.
10.
Vow to do more to help Drum
up Support for a better world.
